installation instructions:
1. Go to Customize Journal, under "Journal" in the sidebar.

2. In Basic choose S2 under Style System, and Save Changes.

3. In Look and Feel choose Bloggish under Layout (in Layou & Language), and (None) under Themes. Save Changes.

4. In Custom Options choose Two column (Sidebar on Left) under Layout Type, Yes under Use layout's "Base Weblog" stylesheet, and paste the codes into the Custom stylesheet area. Save Changes.

5. In the Link List, add the following:

recent - http://USERNAME.insanejournal.com
friends - http://USERNAME.insanejournal.com/friends
archive - http://USERNAME.insanejournal.com/calendar
profile - http://USERNAME.insanejournal.com/info
© - http://lobelia.insanejournal.com

6. Replace USERNAME with your journal's username, Save Changes and all done!

additional notes:
⇒ Please credit by adding a layout by <lj user="lobelia"> or some other kind of link to your profile, or one in your Link List.

⇒ Feel free to add your own header/whatever you want. Just remember to credit.

⇒ In the first code the header is a fixed texture, and will follow when you scroll. The second one doesn't. The blurb like thing in the layout is actually your tags.

I love this layout! The only problem I have is that the box with the userpic, links, and little blurb area doesn't move when I scroll. Is there a way to fix that?

Awww, thank you! I'm glad to hear that. Them not scrolling is actually a planned feature, so as to make the tags and links handily available wherever you are on the page. [: You're more than welcome to edit it as much as you want, however.

Hey I love it and I'm using it in this journal BUT I can't figure out where to add the blurb because I forgot where you put the blurb text. I also credited and if you can answer my question that'd be AWESOME.

It's not actually a blurb, because Bloggish doesn't let you add those for some reason, but your tags made into a list. [: I'm glad you like it, though.

Hi there! I think this layout is gorgeous and I would absolutely love to use it. Is there any way I can alter this layout to still use the "default" comments page? And by "default" I mean like this comment page as opposed to comments within the layout style.

Thank you so much! And yes, there is. I think you can change it on the Custom options page. There should be some sort of drop-down option menu type thing that says something to the effect of "Disable/enable custom comment page" or "Disable/enable default comment page" with Yes/No or Disable/Enable options.

I'm sorry I can't be any more precise or definite than this, but I haven't had any paid accounts for a bit and am just yanking this out the back of my memory. Hope I could help! <:
